Delivering CLS timber in London

CLS travels in bundles alongside plasterboard and is easy to hand off at the kerb. London is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• In summer London gets around 16h 38m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.

Studs are usually set at 400 mm or 600 mm centres to suit 1200 mm wide plasterboard.

Which size?

38 × 63 mm suits most partitions up to standard ceiling heights. 38 × 89 mm gives stiffer, taller walls and more room for insulation.

Only if it is strength graded and the wall is designed for the load. Ask for graded CLS if your design calls for it.
