Delivering plywood in London

Sheets travel flat on the lorry bed and are hand-offloaded or crane-lifted in packs. London is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.
• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.

Decking 18 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 7 sheets including 10% for cutting.

Interior or exterior?

BS EN 636 classes plywood as class 1 (dry), class 2 (humid) or class 3 (exterior). Use class 3 for anything exposed to the weather.

Structural use

Roof decks and floors need plywood marked for structural use. Check the thickness against the joist spacing.
