Planning the drop in Thurso

Tools and PPE travel with the rest of your order. Thurso is in an area where deliveries are priced individually because of the distance and access, so we quote each order separately.

• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
• Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.

Tools & Site Safety: choosing well

Dust from cutting

Cutting masonry and concrete produces silica dust. Use water suppression or extraction and suitable respiratory protection, as HSE guidance sets out.

Gloves for the task

Different gloves suit different risks: cut resistance, chemical protection to EN ISO 374 for cement, or grip.
