Delivery to Elgin: what helps

Tools and PPE travel with the rest of your order. Elgin is in an area where deliveries are priced individually because of the distance and access, so we quote each order separately.

• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
• If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.

Quantities: a worked example

Kitting out a crew of 2 means 2 sets each of eye protection, gloves suited to the task, a hard hat and hi-vis, plus respiratory protection for anyone cutting masonry.

Tools & Site Safety: choosing well

Gloves for the task

Different gloves suit different risks: cut resistance, chemical protection to EN ISO 374 for cement, or grip.

Dust from cutting

Cutting masonry and concrete produces silica dust. Use water suppression or extraction and suitable respiratory protection, as HSE guidance sets out.
