Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.

Nominal versus finished size

Planing takes material off, so a timber sold as 'nominal' 2 × 4 finishes smaller. Always check finished sizes when you need an exact fit.

Getting planed timber onto your Aston site

Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Aston is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
