Structural fixings

Joist hangers, straps and structural connections need the fixings the connector maker specifies.

Inside or outside?

Use galvanised, coated or stainless fixings outdoors and with treated timber, so they do not corrode.

Before your Swanley delivery arrives

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Swanley is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
• Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.

Working out quantities for your Swanley job
