Before you order screws and nails

Use galvanised, coated or stainless fixings outdoors and with treated timber, so they do not corrode.

Length

A rule of thumb is a fixing at least two and a half times the thickness of the piece you are fixing.

Delivering screws and nails in Kirkcaldy

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Kirkcaldy is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
