Before you order plywood

Interior or exterior?

BS EN 636 classes plywood as class 1 (dry), class 2 (humid) or class 3 (exterior). Use class 3 for anything exposed to the weather.

Thickness for floors

18 mm or more is common for floors on joists at 400 mm centres; follow your design.

Before your Dundee delivery arrives

Sheets travel flat on the lorry bed and are hand-offloaded or crane-lifted in packs. Dundee is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
• If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.
• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
