Estimating your OSB, MDF and chipboard

Decking 12 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 5 sheets including 10% for cutting. In P5 chipboard flooring (2400 × 600 mm) the same floor takes 10 boards.

Which flooring?

P5 chipboard flooring is the standard moisture-resistant floor deck. 18 mm is common at 400 mm joist centres and 22 mm at 600 mm centres, but follow the maker's span table.

Cutting MDF safely

MDF dust is fine; cut with extraction and wear suitable respiratory protection.

Delivering OSB, MDF and chipboard in Cambridge

Sheets come in packs on the lorry bed, crane-lifted or hand-offloaded. Cambridge is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around CB2 are priced to the exact address.
• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Cambridge?

Chipboard flooring is commonly 2400 × 600 mm with tongue-and-groove on all four edges.

Can I add other materials to my Cambridge delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from OSB, MDF and chipboard to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.
