Estimating your OSB, MDF and chipboard

Decking 30 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 12 sheets including 10% for cutting. In P5 chipboard flooring (2400 × 600 mm) the same floor takes 23 boards.

Getting OSB, MDF and chipboard onto your Newmarket site

Sheets come in packs on the lorry bed, crane-lifted or hand-offloaded. Newmarket is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
• In summer Newmarket gets around 16h 47m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.

MDF dust is fine; cut with extraction and wear suitable respiratory protection.

What chipboard flooring should I use?

Is MDF waterproof?

No. Moisture-resistant MDF handles humid rooms better than standard MDF but must still be sealed and kept out of direct water.

Can you deliver OSB, MDF and chipboard to a site with restricted access in Newmarket?

Usually, yes. Tell us about the access when you ask for a price and we will plan the vehicle and offload, or say if a smaller vehicle is needed.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Newmarket?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.
