Post mix quantities
Most makers say how many bags per post; it depends on the hole size.

Each bag states the volume it makes. Divide your volume by the yield to get the number of bags.
How delivery works in Sale
Bags come on a pallet or with a mixed load. Sale is inside our standard mainland delivery area.
- Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
- Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
- In summer Sale gets around 17h 01m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
Ordering bagged concrete and mortar for Sale: FAQs
How much does one bag of concrete make?
The yield is on the bag. As a rough guide a 20 to 25 kg bag makes about 0.01 cubic metres of concrete.
When should I use ready-mixed concrete instead?
Once you need more than about half a cubic metre, mixing from bags gets slow and costly; ballast and cement or ready-mixed concrete usually make more sense.
Is there a minimum order for delivery to Sale?
There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.
Do you deliver bagged concrete and mortar to trades and homeowners in Sale?
Both. Trades can apply for a trade account; homeowners and self-builders can order on a delivered quote.
