Edge distances

Every anchor has minimum edge distances and spacings; fixing too close to an edge can crack the masonry.

Planning the drop in Clydach

Boxed with the rest of your order. Clydach is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• In summer Clydach gets around 16h 40m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.

Quantities: a worked example

What anchor should I use in hollow block?

Resin anchors with mesh sleeves, or anchors designed for hollow masonry. Standard expansion anchors may not hold.

Can I add other materials to my Clydach delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from anchors and bolts to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

How long does resin take to cure?

It depends on the product and temperature, from minutes to hours. The cartridge gives cure times.

Do you deliver anchors and bolts to Clydach?
