Which sealant where?

Use sanitary silicone in wet areas, low-modulus sealant around frames that move, and paintable caulk on trims to be decorated.

Fire-stopping

Ordinary foam is not a fire stop. Where a fire seal is required use a tested fire-rated product and install it as tested.

How much will you need?

Sealing round 8 windows of about 1.2 × 1.2 m is roughly 38.4 m of joint. A 310 ml cartridge runs about 3 m of a 10 × 10 mm bead, so allow 13 cartridges of frame sealant.

Planning the drop in Southampton

Boxed with the rest of your order. Southampton is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
• Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
• On busy streets in Southampton, a parking suspension or a quiet time slot can make offloading safer, so tell us about local restrictions you know of.

Yes. Put everything on one list, from adhesives and sealants to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

Is expanding foam fire rated?
