Things to check before you order

Cement burns

Wet cement can burn skin. Wear waterproof, chemical-resistant gloves (EN ISO 374) and long sleeves, and wash it off quickly.

Gloves for the task

Different gloves suit different risks: cut resistance, chemical protection to EN ISO 374 for cement, or grip.

How much will you need?

Kitting out a crew of 3 means 3 sets each of eye protection, gloves suited to the task, a hard hat and hi-vis, plus respiratory protection for anyone cutting masonry.

How delivery works in Seaford

Tools and PPE travel with the rest of your order. Seaford is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
• In summer Seaford gets around 16h 30m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.

Tools & Site Safety questions

What is EN 166?

The European standard for eye protection; look for it on safety glasses and goggles.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Seaford?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

How soon can tools and site safety gear be delivered in Seaford?

We confirm the delivery date when we price your order, before you commit. It depends on the product, the quantity and whether it is a stock line or made to order.

Can tools be added to a materials delivery?

Yes, add them to your list and they come on the same lorry.
