Before you order tools and site safety gear

Dust from cutting

Cutting masonry and concrete produces silica dust. Use water suppression or extraction and suitable respiratory protection, as HSE guidance sets out.

Cement burns

Wet cement can burn skin. Wear waterproof, chemical-resistant gloves (EN ISO 374) and long sleeves, and wash it off quickly.

Getting tools and site safety gear onto your Brighton site

Tools and PPE travel with the rest of your order. Brighton is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
