Cement burns

Wet cement can burn skin. Wear waterproof, chemical-resistant gloves (EN ISO 374) and long sleeves, and wash it off quickly.

Gloves for the task

Different gloves suit different risks: cut resistance, chemical protection to EN ISO 374 for cement, or grip.

Before your London delivery arrives

Tools and PPE travel with the rest of your order. London is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around EC1 are priced to the exact address.

Working out quantities for your London job

Kitting out a crew of 2 means 2 sets each of eye protection, gloves suited to the task, a hard hat and hi-vis, plus respiratory protection for anyone cutting masonry.
