Length

Structural fixings

Joist hangers, straps and structural connections need the fixings the connector maker specifies.

Getting screws and nails onto your Wimbledon site

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Wimbledon is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.

Working out quantities for your Wimbledon job

Fixing 15 sheets of plasterboard at about 35 screws a sheet uses 525 drywall screws, or 1 box of 1,000.
