Delivering screws and nails in Barnes

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Barnes is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.

Before you order screws and nails

Inside or outside?

Use galvanised, coated or stainless fixings outdoors and with treated timber, so they do not corrode.

Structural fixings

Joist hangers, straps and structural connections need the fixings the connector maker specifies.

Quantities: a worked example

Fixing 20 sheets of plasterboard at about 35 screws a sheet uses 700 drywall screws, or 1 box of 1,000.
