Length

A rule of thumb is a fixing at least two and a half times the thickness of the piece you are fixing.

How delivery works in Truro

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Truro is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• With roughly 8h 02m of daylight in Truro around the shortest day, morning deliveries leave more working light for the job.
• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.

How much will you need?

Fixing 30 sheets of plasterboard at about 35 screws a sheet uses 1,050 drywall screws, or 2 boxes of 1,000.

Screws & Nails questions

Do you sell nails for nail guns?

Yes, collated nails for common framing and finishing guns; tell us the gun model.

What screws for plasterboard?

Drywall screws: coarse thread for timber studs, fine thread or self-drilling for metal.

Can you deliver screws and nails to a site with restricted access in Truro?

Usually, yes. Tell us about the access when you ask for a price and we will plan the vehicle and offload, or say if a smaller vehicle is needed.

Can I add other materials to my Truro delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from screws and nails to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.
