Getting the right adhesives and sealants

Which sealant where?

Use sanitary silicone in wet areas, low-modulus sealant around frames that move, and paintable caulk on trims to be decorated.

Fire-stopping

Ordinary foam is not a fire stop. Where a fire seal is required use a tested fire-rated product and install it as tested.

Delivering adhesives and sealants in Truro

Boxed with the rest of your order. Truro is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
