Inside or outside?

Use galvanised, coated or stainless fixings outdoors and with treated timber, so they do not corrode.

Structural fixings

Joist hangers, straps and structural connections need the fixings the connector maker specifies.

Delivery to Elgin: what helps

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Elgin is in an area where deliveries are priced individually because of the distance and access, so we quote each order separately.

• In summer Elgin gets around 18h 05m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
