Joist hangers, straps and structural connections need the fixings the connector maker specifies.

Inside or outside?

Use galvanised, coated or stainless fixings outdoors and with treated timber, so they do not corrode.

Getting screws and nails onto your Carnoustie site

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Carnoustie is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• With roughly 6h 50m of daylight in Carnoustie around the shortest day, morning deliveries leave more working light for the job.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
