Length

A rule of thumb is a fixing at least two and a half times the thickness of the piece you are fixing.

Sizing your order

Fixing 30 sheets of plasterboard at about 35 screws a sheet uses 1,050 drywall screws, or 2 boxes of 1,000.

Delivery to Burnley: what helps

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Burnley is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• With roughly 7h 24m of daylight in Burnley around the shortest day, morning deliveries leave more working light for the job.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
