Before you order tools and site safety gear

Dust from cutting

Cutting masonry and concrete produces silica dust. Use water suppression or extraction and suitable respiratory protection, as HSE guidance sets out.

Cement burns

Wet cement can burn skin. Wear waterproof, chemical-resistant gloves (EN ISO 374) and long sleeves, and wash it off quickly.

Estimating your tools and site safety gear

Kitting out a crew of 3 means 3 sets each of eye protection, gloves suited to the task, a hard hat and hi-vis, plus respiratory protection for anyone cutting masonry.

Delivering tools and site safety gear in Barnes

Tools and PPE travel with the rest of your order. Barnes is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around SW13 are priced to the exact address.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
