A quick quantity check

A 3.4 × 3.2 m room with one door has about 12.4 m of wall to skirt. With 10% for joints and offcuts that is 13.6 m, or 4 lengths of 4.2 m skirting, plus architrave for each side of the door.

Picking the right product

Softwood or MDF trim?

MDF skirting and architrave is very straight and paints well; softwood takes knocks better and can be stained.

Matching old profiles

Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.

Before your Aldershot delivery arrives

Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Aldershot is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
• If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.
• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.

Planed Timber & Mouldings in Aldershot: questions

Can you match an old skirting profile?

We can look for the closest current profile. Exact matches for old or bespoke profiles may need machining to order.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Aldershot?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

What does PAR mean?

Planed all round: the timber has been machined smooth on all four faces.

Can I add other materials to my Aldershot delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from planed timber to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.
