Picking the right product

Cutting MDF safely

MDF dust is fine; cut with extraction and wear suitable respiratory protection.

OSB or plywood?

OSB3 is usually cheaper and fine for most structural decking in humid conditions. Plywood is stiffer, takes fixings near edges better and performs better where it may get wet.

Sizing your order

Decking 15 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 6 sheets including 10% for cutting. In P5 chipboard flooring (2400 × 600 mm) the same floor takes 12 boards.

Planning the drop in Windsor

Sheets come in packs on the lorry bed, crane-lifted or hand-offloaded. Windsor is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• On busy streets in Windsor, a parking suspension or a quiet time slot can make offloading safer, so tell us about local restrictions you know of.
• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
