Order concrete blocks for delivery in Windsor
Concrete blocks are large masonry units, normally 440 × 215 mm on face, that lay at about 10 blocks per square metre; they come as dense aggregate, lightweight aggregate or aircrete (aerated) blocks.
SK Trade prices concrete blocks delivered to Windsor and the rest of Berkshire, so the cost and the delivery date are agreed before anything is loaded.

Things to check before you order
Handling heavy blocks
Health and safety guidance discourages laying very heavy blocks by hand for long periods. Lighter blocks or planning the lift can make a big difference on site.
Dense or aircrete?
Dense blocks are strong and good for sound separation but heavy; a 100 mm dense block can weigh around 20 kg. Aircrete blocks are much lighter and insulate better, which helps with energy targets, but need the right fixings.
In England, building work is checked against the Approved Documents, for example Part A for structure and Part L for energy efficiency, through your council's building control team or a registered building control approver.
Delivering concrete blocks in Windsor
Blocks are banded on pallets and usually crane-offloaded where the vehicle and access allow; tell us the weight limit of any drive or the ground where pallets will sit. Windsor is inside our standard mainland delivery area.
- Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
- If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
- For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.

Can you deliver concrete blocks to a site with restricted access in Windsor?
Usually, yes. Tell us about the access when you ask for a price and we will plan the vehicle and offload, or say if a smaller vehicle is needed.
How many blocks on a pallet?
It varies with the block size and maker. We confirm the pallet quantity with your price.
Is there a minimum order for delivery to Windsor?
There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.
Can I use blocks in the foundations?
Yes, using blocks made for below ground, often trench blocks or dense blocks of the specified strength. Building control will check foundation design.
