Planning the drop in Holywood

Sheets come in packs on the lorry bed, crane-lifted or hand-offloaded. Deliveries to Northern Ireland include a sea crossing, so we quote each order individually.

• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
• In summer Holywood gets around 17h 17m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.

OSB, MDF & Chipboard in Holywood: questions

Can OSB get wet?

OSB3 copes with humid conditions and short exposure during construction, but it should not be left in the rain for long or used where it stays wet.

Can you deliver OSB, MDF and chipboard to a site with restricted access in Holywood?

Usually, yes. Tell us about the access when you ask for a price and we will plan the vehicle and offload, or say if a smaller vehicle is needed.

Can I add other materials to my Holywood delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from OSB, MDF and chipboard to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

What is OSB3?

OSB3 is oriented strand board graded for load-bearing use in humid conditions under BS EN 300. It is the common grade for floors, roofs and sheathing.
