Picking the right product

OSB or plywood?

OSB3 is usually cheaper and fine for most structural decking in humid conditions. Plywood is stiffer, takes fixings near edges better and performs better where it may get wet.

Cutting MDF safely

MDF dust is fine; cut with extraction and wear suitable respiratory protection.

Before your Goole delivery arrives

Sheets come in packs on the lorry bed, crane-lifted or hand-offloaded. Goole is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• On busy streets in Goole, a parking suspension or a quiet time slot can make offloading safer, so tell us about local restrictions you know of.
• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
