Delivery to Cambridgeshire: what helps

CLS travels in bundles alongside plasterboard and is easy to hand off at the kerb. Our standard mainland delivery area covers Cambridgeshire.

• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.

Loadbearing walls

If the wall carries load it needs graded timber to a design. Plain CLS is not automatically structural.

Which size?

38 × 63 mm suits most partitions up to standard ceiling heights. 38 × 89 mm gives stiffer, taller walls and more room for insulation.

How many studs do I need?

Divide the wall length by the stud spacing (400 or 600 mm), add one, then add plates and noggins. Our plasterboard calculator gives the boards for the same wall.

Can I add other materials to my Cambridgeshire delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from CLS timber to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

What does CLS stand for?

Canadian Lumber Standard. It refers to the way the timber is dried, planed and finished with rounded edges.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Cambridgeshire?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.
