How much cement do I need?

Work from the mix: a 1:4 mortar or a 1:5 concrete mix tells you the share of cement. Our calculators turn wall or slab sizes into bags.

Delivery to Yeadon: what helps

Bags come on a shrink-wrapped pallet or as part of a mixed load; keep them covered once dropped. Yeadon is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• In summer Yeadon gets around 17h 07m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
• If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.

Your questions answered

Do you sell cement by the pallet?

Yes. Full pallets make sense for bigger jobs; for smaller quantities bags travel with the rest of your order.

How many bags of cement for 1,000 bricks?

At a 1:4 mortar mix, about 8 to 9 bags of 25 kg cement and roughly 1 tonne of building sand, allowing for waste.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Yeadon?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

Can you deliver cement to a site with restricted access in Yeadon?

Usually, yes. Tell us about the access when you ask for a price and we will plan the vehicle and offload, or say if a smaller vehicle is needed.
