Things to check before you order

Soft or sharp?

Use soft building sand for mortar because it gives a smooth, sticky mix. Use sharp sand where strength and drainage matter: screeds, concrete and paving beds.

Colour of mortar

Building sand colour changes the mortar colour. For matching existing joints, a sample is worth it.

Planning the drop in Walton-on-Thames

Bulk bags are usually crane-lifted onto a drive or kerb where the vehicle and access allow; small bags travel with a mixed load. Walton-on-Thames is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

  • Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
  • Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
  • Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.

Yes. Put everything on one list, from sand to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.
