Order bricks for delivery in Rugby

Bricks are fired clay or concrete masonry units; the UK standard size is 215 × 102.5 × 65 mm, which lays at about 60 bricks per square metre of single-skin wall.

SK Trade prices bricks delivered to Rugby and the rest of Warwickshire, so the cost and the delivery date are agreed before anything is loaded.

Before you order bricks

Matching an existing house

Bring us the brick name if you know it, or a clear photo of a cleaned face in daylight with a tape measure for scale. Size matters as much as colour: older imperial bricks are often slightly larger than 65 mm.

Colour consistency

Order everything for one job at the same time so the bricks come from the same production run, then mix from three or four packs as you lay to blend any variation.

In England, building work is checked against the Approved Documents, for example Part A for structure and Part L for energy efficiency, through your council's building control team or a registered building control approver.

Before your Rugby delivery arrives

Bricks come in strapped packs, usually on a pallet, and are lifted off by a lorry-mounted crane where the drop point allows. Rugby is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

  • If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
  • If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
  • For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.

Ordering bricks for Rugby: FAQs

Do you deliver bricks to trades and homeowners in Rugby?

Both. Trades can apply for a trade account; homeowners and self-builders can order on a delivered quote.

Which bricks go below the damp-proof course?

Below DPC you need bricks that cope with constant damp and frost: engineering bricks, or clay facings declared F2 and S2. Concrete bricks are another option for below-ground work.

Can you match my existing bricks?

Often, yes. Send the brick name if you have it, or a daylight photo of a clean face with a tape measure for scale. We will look for the nearest match in current ranges and can usually arrange a sample before you commit to a full order.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Rugby?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.
