Before your Rugby delivery arrives

Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Rugby is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around CV21 are priced to the exact address.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• On busy streets in Rugby, a parking suspension or a quiet time slot can make offloading safer, so tell us about local restrictions you know of.

Planed Timber & Mouldings: choosing well

Softwood or MDF trim?

MDF skirting and architrave is very straight and paints well; softwood takes knocks better and can be stained.

Matching old profiles

Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.

Estimating your planed timber

A 3.8 × 4 m room with one door has about 14.8 m of wall to skirt. With 10% for joints and offcuts that is 16.3 m, or 4 lengths of 4.2 m skirting, plus architrave for each side of the door.
