For anything structural or safety-critical, such as a ledger carrying a floor or a balustrade, use anchors with a technical assessment and follow the design.

Edge distances

Every anchor has minimum edge distances and spacings; fixing too close to an edge can crack the masonry.

How much will you need?

As an illustration only: anchors at 600 mm centres along a 4.8 m ledger means 9 fixings. Structural fixings must follow your design, so send us the specified anchor and spacing and we will price it.
