Getting adhesives and sealants onto your Halesowen site

Boxed with the rest of your order. Halesowen is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around B63 are priced to the exact address.

How much will you need?

Sealing round 10 windows of about 1.2 × 1.2 m is roughly 48 m of joint. A 310 ml cartridge runs about 3 m of a 10 × 10 mm bead, so allow 16 cartridges of frame sealant.

Getting the right adhesives and sealants

Fire-stopping

Ordinary foam is not a fire stop. Where a fire seal is required use a tested fire-rated product and install it as tested.

Ventilation

Some adhesives and foams give off fumes while curing; use them in a ventilated space.
