How delivery works in Kelso

Tools and PPE travel with the rest of your order. Kelso is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
• In summer Kelso gets around 17h 31m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.

Getting the right tools and site safety gear

Cement burns

Wet cement can burn skin. Wear waterproof, chemical-resistant gloves (EN ISO 374) and long sleeves, and wash it off quickly.

Gloves for the task

Different gloves suit different risks: cut resistance, chemical protection to EN ISO 374 for cement, or grip.

Working out quantities for your Kelso job

Kitting out a crew of 5 means 5 sets each of eye protection, gloves suited to the task, a hard hat and hi-vis, plus respiratory protection for anyone cutting masonry.

Your questions answered

Can I add other materials to my Kelso delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from tools and site safety gear to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

How soon can tools and site safety gear be delivered in Kelso?

We confirm the delivery date when we price your order, before you commit. It depends on the product, the quantity and whether it is a stock line or made to order.

What is EN 166?

The European standard for eye protection; look for it on safety glasses and goggles.

What PPE do I need for cutting blocks?

Eye protection, hearing protection and an FFP3 mask (or a better respirator) for silica dust, plus gloves. Use water suppression or extraction where possible.
