Getting the right tools and site safety gear

Dust from cutting

Cutting masonry and concrete produces silica dust. Use water suppression or extraction and suitable respiratory protection, as HSE guidance sets out.

Gloves for the task

Different gloves suit different risks: cut resistance, chemical protection to EN ISO 374 for cement, or grip.

Getting tools and site safety gear onto your Dudley site

Tools and PPE travel with the rest of your order. Dudley is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
