Cement burns

Wet cement can burn skin. Wear waterproof, chemical-resistant gloves (EN ISO 374) and long sleeves, and wash it off quickly.

Dust from cutting

Cutting masonry and concrete produces silica dust. Use water suppression or extraction and suitable respiratory protection, as HSE guidance sets out.

Before your Caterham delivery arrives

Tools and PPE travel with the rest of your order. Caterham is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.

How much will you need?

Kitting out a crew of 5 means 5 sets each of eye protection, gloves suited to the task, a hard hat and hi-vis, plus respiratory protection for anyone cutting masonry.
