Delivery to Wallasey: what helps

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Wallasey is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.

Before you order screws and nails

Structural fixings

Joist hangers, straps and structural connections need the fixings the connector maker specifies.

Length

A rule of thumb is a fixing at least two and a half times the thickness of the piece you are fixing.
