Things to check before you order

Structural fixings

Joist hangers, straps and structural connections need the fixings the connector maker specifies.

Inside or outside?

Use galvanised, coated or stainless fixings outdoors and with treated timber, so they do not corrode.

Getting screws and nails onto your Kirkby site

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Kirkby is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
