Structural fixings

Joist hangers, straps and structural connections need the fixings the connector maker specifies.

Quantities: a worked example

Fixing 25 sheets of plasterboard at about 35 screws a sheet uses 875 drywall screws, or 1 box of 1,000.

Before your Buxton delivery arrives

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Buxton is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• On busy streets in Buxton, a parking suspension or a quiet time slot can make offloading safer, so tell us about local restrictions you know of.
