Getting screws and nails onto your Billericay site

Boxed fixings travel with the rest of your order. Billericay is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
• In summer Billericay gets around 16h 40m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.

Before you order screws and nails

Inside or outside?

Use galvanised, coated or stainless fixings outdoors and with treated timber, so they do not corrode.

Length

A rule of thumb is a fixing at least two and a half times the thickness of the piece you are fixing.
