Before you order plywood

Interior or exterior?

BS EN 636 classes plywood as class 1 (dry), class 2 (humid) or class 3 (exterior). Use class 3 for anything exposed to the weather.

Thickness for floors

18 mm or more is common for floors on joists at 400 mm centres; follow your design.

Delivering plywood in Washington

Sheets travel flat on the lorry bed and are hand-offloaded or crane-lifted in packs. Washington is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
