Delivery to Doncaster: what helps

Sheets travel flat on the lorry bed and are hand-offloaded or crane-lifted in packs. Doncaster is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• With roughly 7h 28m of daylight in Doncaster around the shortest day, morning deliveries leave more working light for the job.
• In summer Doncaster gets around 17h 02m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.

Sizing your order

Decking 8 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 3 sheets including 10% for cutting.

Choosing plywood

Interior or exterior?

BS EN 636 classes plywood as class 1 (dry), class 2 (humid) or class 3 (exterior). Use class 3 for anything exposed to the weather.

Structural use

Roof decks and floors need plywood marked for structural use. Check the thickness against the joist spacing.
