How delivery works in Clydach

Sheets travel flat on the lorry bed and are hand-offloaded or crane-lifted in packs. Clydach is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
• Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.

Sizing your order

Decking 10 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 4 sheets including 10% for cutting.

Getting the right plywood

Structural use

Roof decks and floors need plywood marked for structural use. Check the thickness against the joist spacing.

Thickness for floors

18 mm or more is common for floors on joists at 400 mm centres; follow your design.

Ordering plywood for Clydach: FAQs

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Clydach?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

Can you deliver plywood to a site with restricted access in Clydach?

Usually, yes. Tell us about the access when you ask for a price and we will plan the vehicle and offload, or say if a smaller vehicle is needed.

What size is a sheet of plywood?

The standard sheet is 2440 × 1220 mm, also known as 8 × 4 feet.

Is shuttering ply suitable for building?

It is made for concrete formwork, not for permanent structural decks. Use structural ply for roofs and floors.
