Structural use

Roof decks and floors need plywood marked for structural use. Check the thickness against the joist spacing.

Interior or exterior?

BS EN 636 classes plywood as class 1 (dry), class 2 (humid) or class 3 (exterior). Use class 3 for anything exposed to the weather.

Sizing your order

Decking 24 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 9 sheets including 10% for cutting.

Delivery to Chatham: what helps

Sheets travel flat on the lorry bed and are hand-offloaded or crane-lifted in packs. Chatham is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
