Delivering plaster in Yeadon

Bags come on a pallet or with a mixed load; keep them dry and off the floor. Yeadon is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
• With roughly 7h 24m of daylight in Yeadon around the shortest day, morning deliveries leave more working light for the job.

How much will you need?

Skimming 30 m² of walls and ceilings at about 2 mm takes around 3 bags of 25 kg finishing plaster, plus angle beads for external corners. Coverage varies with the background, so allow a spare bag.

Picking the right product

Undercoat for the background

Hardwall suits high-suction backgrounds like brick and block; bonding suits low-suction backgrounds like concrete or painted surfaces.

Fresh stock matters

Old plaster sets fast and unevenly. Order it close to when you need it and keep bags dry.
