Delivery to Tonbridge: what helps

Can you deliver planed timber to a site with restricted access in Tonbridge?

Why is my 2 × 4 smaller than 2 × 4 inches?

Timber is often named by its sawn size before planing. Once planed, it finishes smaller, so a nominal 2 × 4 is roughly 44 × 94 mm or less.

What does PAR mean?

Planed all round: the timber has been machined smooth on all four faces.
