A 3.8 × 3.6 m room with one door has about 14 m of wall to skirt. With 10% for joints and offcuts that is 15.4 m, or 4 lengths of 4.2 m skirting, plus architrave for each side of the door.
Delivery to Nuneaton: what helps
Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Nuneaton is inside our standard mainland delivery area.
- Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
- Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
- In summer Nuneaton gets around 16h 50m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
Things to check before you order
Softwood or MDF trim?
MDF skirting and architrave is very straight and paints well; softwood takes knocks better and can be stained.
Matching old profiles
Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.
